Create Your Regatta
Sign in (a free account takes a minute), press Host a Regatta, and enter the name, your club, and the dates. Your Regatta Manager opens immediately. No payment processor onboarding, no verification wait, nothing public until you publish.
Add Classes & Fees
Create each boat class (ILCA 6, Opti, Sunfish, anything) with its own entry fee, optional entry cap, and age limits. Add extra registration questions if you need them.
Publish & Share
Flip the Published switch and your regatta is live at wesailbetter.com with a registration page, entry list, notice board, and documents. Share one link everywhere.
Sailors Register & Pay by Card
Entries pay online instantly. Every confirmed entry appears on the public entry list, and your roster updates in real time with payment status, check-in, and export.
Score on the Water
The scoring panel works on your phone: tap boats in finish order, assign DNF/UFD/RDG codes, then publish each race. Results appear on the public results page instantly and stay in the archive forever.
Get Paid
Sail Better collects card entries and pays your club the net by bank transfer or Wise. Your payout statement shows every entry, the platform fee, and every transfer, live.
Pricing, Payouts & Common Questions
What does it cost?
No setup fee, no monthly fee. We keep 2% per entry under $250 and 1.25% at $250 or more, capped at $5 per entry. Card processing (3%) is paid by the sailor at checkout, not by your club.
Do we need a Stripe account or company verification?
No. Payments run through Sail Better's payment account, so your regatta can take card entries the day it goes live. We pay out your net entry fees directly to your club.
Can sailors pay us directly instead?
Yes. Add offline payment instructions (bank transfer, pay at the club office) and sailors can choose that option. You mark those entries paid from your roster.
What about results from past years?
Completed regattas stay on the site as a permanent archive. We can also load past editions of your event so your history lives in one place.
