Andrew Lewis

Andrew Lewis is a Trinidad & Tobago Olympian, coach, community builder and co-founder of Sail Better. His work has always been guided by one belief: sailing should create opportunity, not only for those with access to boats or clubs, but for every young person willing to learn.

Through the Andrew Lewis Sailing Foundation and Andrew Lewis Sailing Academy, Andrew has helped build one of the Caribbean's most important grassroots sailing pathways. His programmes have introduced thousands of young people to sailing, helped hundreds learn to swim, and created opportunities for sailors, volunteers and coaches to grow through sport.

Andrew's approach connects high performance with human development. He believes sailing can produce strong athletes, but more importantly, confident people: young leaders who understand teamwork, responsibility, resilience and service.

At Sail Better, Andrew brings Caribbean leadership, Olympic experience and a deep commitment to access, helping connect islands, coaches, clubs, foundations and athletes into one stronger regional pathway, from grassroots sailing to international competition and beyond.
